Quite honestly: My life is busy. I have a job now. I’m in two AP courses and one honors course. High school for me ends in about 8 weeks. I’ve been more active at church. I’ve been trying to spend more time with people, friends, family, before I leave for Cedarville University, which is in 145 days. Depression kicks in once in a while, making me not want to do anything.
I have been planning some things for this blog, though. (: Don’t worry. It’s not going away. I may be recruiting help soon. I’m going to try to figure out a new way to do things so I don’t get so overwhelmed and put it on the backburner because of it. I’m so sorry that I haven’t been around. Expect things soon, I promise. <3 (:
Ah, that makes sense. Jersey Shore, US Skins was getting questioned if some of their scenes were child pornography and I think that season was out around the same time IYRKM was… I could understand that.
This blog is in no way actually affiliated with the Challenge Day program that does Cross The Line. Please refer to http://challengeday.org/ for information about having the program at your school. <3
I knew the program was still around, but it’s just not on MTV anymore, and I never knew why.
I’m not sure why they cancelled it. It was powerful. <3
“If You Really Knew Me” it only lasted like one season on MTV.
After the current submissions are clear.
i do not make the submissions.
I am seeing it from both sides. The real world is a gay-bashing community, but much of tumblr is straight bashing. Not so much bashing. But a lot of LGBTQ tumblr users automatically assume that if you’re straight, then you hate the LGBTQ community. Just like how that anon did. They automatically assumed that being proud of being straight went hand and hand with being anti-gay. I’ve been on here for a long time now. It’s uncomfortable to be straight on tumblr for a lot of people.
Tumblr, from my perspective, should be a very open community for all. Straight, gay, pansexual, bisexual, etc. People shouldn’t be so quick to assume being proud of being straight make you anti-gay. And you also shouldn’t lump your bullies in the same group with people who are just proud to be who they are.
No two people are exactly like. No two people’s views are ever going to completely coincide. I have gay relatives that believe it’s wrong to act on how they feel because it’s giving into sexual temptation. Not every gay person believes it’s okay to act on their feelings. Same with straight people, which is where you get nuns and monks from.
No one will ever agree on something completely with another person. It’s the beauty of being human and living in the beautiful world we live in. Everything is so complex, yet organized. We can have valid discussions and debate our point of view for others to see. We can disagree but still respect each other. The human nature is very beautiful, in my opinion. Regardless of what your choices are. Which is why I love tumblr. It’s essence is what we all think about day to day. Some of us proud to be who we are, some of us struggling to survive. But we all move on and live these lives that are beautifully chaotic and organized at the same time. Regardless of the bashers. Regardless of the supporters. Adversity will always happen in our lives, but that’s what makes life beautiful, isn’t it? Overcoming that adversity and rising a stronger person? Being able to see both sides of this after being bullied all your liufe, many are still able to see the “proud of who you are” side of it because that’s why they were bullied, for being proud of who they are.
And I just rambled for a very long time, but I think looking deeper into it brings out a lot of beauty in the chaos.

Are you sure you’re looking at the right twitter? The twitter for this blog isn’t the one with 9348023984 followers. I rarely use the twitter I made for CTL. It has about 120 followers. The main CTL twitter has about 25 thousand.
Both comments you made are answered in the FAQ. I’m not going to deny someone else’s submission and I don’t edit the grammar in the posts.
